Mexican Piñon

Pinus cembroidesZucc.  var. bicolor Little

Primarily 2 needle bundles, though 3 in a bundle are not hard to find.

Appears to have a yellowish cast when next to the abundant species of pinyon, though in this case it is in front of a juniper, with a Colorado Piñon to the right.

Each loosely placed branch grows long and upwards.

Two -needle bundles in most cases here, a three-needle bundle can be seen in the upper right corner. Raindrop on the pollen cone.
