We watched this tiny little plant emerge from the cracks in the soil. I’m glad I had a macro zoom to use, otherwise I would have needed a magnifying glass. The tiny, tiny white striped flowers were quite remarkable. It got a little bigger over the course of a couple weeks. The white striped flower was actually just the precursor as the maroon colored flowers here emerged from the white ones. I lost track somehow, of when the first photo was taken, but all the others are from April 2019. The last two taken on the same day (of different plants of course). That was 4/27.
