Although this picture does not deserve to be seen by anyone, this is the bird that I was following the day I saw the Prairie Rattlesnake. You can read about the story there. I followed the song and the flashes of wings. The weather was quite warm and it was before a storm.

I’ve tried to get photos since, but they seem to always be on the opposite side of the tree. Handsome little bird!
