The Mesa is within the San Luis Valley and sits at 8500,-9000 ft above sea level. The SLV is bordered by the the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, which is our view to the East. The San Juan Mountains, not visible from our house at all borders the SLV to the West. We love to Jeep the San Juans.
